Bark Avenue Animal Arts Academy--located in Winter Garden, Florida-- is dedicated to ensuring that you are taught the skills you’ll need for long-term success, as well as personal and professional fulfillment.

Learn in a comfortable (not stuffy) environment by sitting in on interesting lectures, viewing video presentations, seeing demonstrations, and most-importantly (and the most fun)….getting lots of hands-on practice.

· Pet Grooming Salons

· Veterinary Clinics

· Animal Shelters

· Rescue Organizations

· Mobile Grooming

· Doggy daycare facilities that offer grooming services

· Work for a well-know grooming facility –Or- be your own boss and start your own business. Be in charge of how much income you can handle.

Once you are an experienced pet groomer, you can be a Pet Grooming School Instructor or Instructor Assistant.

The purpose of Bark Avenue Animal Arts Academy is to educate and prepare students to enter the world of animal grooming.

Two programs to choose from:
General Level Grooming Program
Professional Level Grooming Program

The purpose of Bark Avenue Animal Arts Academy is to educate and prepare students to enter the world of animal grooming.

Upon successful completion and graduation of the 500 hour General Level Animal Grooming Program, students will be able to perform animal grooming duties including-but not limited to-entry level animal grooming. Graduates will be able to work in a pet grooming salon, preferably under the general supervision of a highly experience professional animal groomer, in order to refine their scissoring/finishing skills.

Upon successful completion and graduation of the 800 hour Professional Level animal grooming Program, students will be able to perform animal grooming duties including-but not limited to advanced level scissoring, clipping, and pattern skills. Graduates will be able to independently work in a storefront grooming salon and/or mobile grooming salon. Additionally, graduates will be armed with the information they need to pursue self-employment.
